Samsung has announced a one-UI 7.0 update schedule for its phones

Samsung has stated that Android 15-based One UI 7.0 will launch in early April 2025. The Galaxy S24 series will get the update first, followed by the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy A55.

One UI 7.0 Rollout Delays
After starting One UI 7.0 beta testing for the Galaxy S24 series in December 2024, Samsung has released various upgrades. One UI 7.0 was completely rewritten, delaying the stable deployment. AI-powered features, especially cloud-based processing, need a strong infrastructure to handle millions of devices.

Samsung has not said which AI functions will be on earlier Galaxy S and Z phones.

Anything new?
Samsung says that One UI 7.0’s revamped Quick Panel UI, revised iconography, and smoother animations increase performance, especially during quick navigation. The new Now Bar will show ongoing tasks, improving multitasking.

The Camera app is now simpler to operate one-handedly, and the battery indicator and charging animations are updated.

Samsung prioritizes reliability, efficiency, and AI-driven features in One UI 7.0. The Galaxy S24 series will get the upgrade first, followed by others in the coming months.
