WhatsApp Calls Will Improve Next Update
WhatsApp is adding features to improve Android voice and video conversations. WABetaInfo reported that WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.25.10.16 is testing these upgrades with a small set of users.
New mute option
A notification panel mute button during incoming calls is being tested. User microphones may be muted before answering calls. It may not be evident, but it might let users join calls in busy environments without background noise.
Camera toggle button added
The second function lets people deactivate their camera before video calls. These options are handy for people who want a few seconds to prepare before going on television or who don’t utilize their camera. It also protects privacy while answering calls from strangers by not activating the camera.
Live Emoji Reactions
The third feature supports video call emoji responses. This lets participants express themselves non-verbally in real time, making talks more dynamic and visually fascinating without interrupting the speaker.
Slow Rollout
Only chosen beta testers may access these features. WhatsApp is anticipated to spread to additional users in the coming weeks as testing continues. When these tools will be in the stable app is unknown.
