According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is considering adding cameras to future Apple Watch models, which may bring “visual intelligence” to users’ wrists.

Gurman’s knowledge shows Apple is exploring numerous Apple Watch camera options. The regular model may include a lens underneath the display, concealed until required. However, the Apple Watch Ultra may include a sensor between the crown and power button for rapid camera access in harsh or fitness-oriented situations. Gurman expects camera-equipped cars by 2027 if development proceeds as planned.
