Trump Issues a Warning Against ‘Stupid’ Panic as Markets Continue to Fall
On Monday, President Donald Trump of the United States issued a warning against “stupid” panic as a worldwide stock market fall escalated as a result of Beijing’s retaliation against his economic assault about tariffs.
In early trading, all three main US indexes had a decline of more than three percent, and New York shares followed the rest of the market in its downward trend.
Despite the fact that European stocks were in the red, the situation in Asia was far more dire. The Hang Seng index in Hong Kong had a decline of 13.2 percent, which was its worst drop since the Asian financial crisis of 1997. The Nikkei 225 in Tokyo experienced a plunge of 7.8 percent, which was astounding.
The President of the United States stated on his Twitter account that his tariff revisions were “a chance to do something that should have been done decades ago” only minutes before the markets started in New York.
You must not be weak! Don’t be such an idiot!… If you are able to maintain your strength, courage, and patience, then you will achieve greatness! as he urged.
